Semester 1.5 Reflection
Overall I enjoyed this module because I think group work is very important to develop communication and collaboration skills, hence, I learned how to work with different people and contribute more for the benefit of the team.

This assignment for Architecture Environment has taught me a lot about how the environment that surrounds you plays a crucial part in ensuring the user's comfort. I learned how to examine environmental factors such as humidity levels, ventilation, shading, lighting, and high temperatures to implement passive design strategies to achieve maximum comfort level. Moreover, I understood that passive design strategies are a reliable and cost-effective method to improve the conditions of a chosen space, for example, installing shading devices, improving fenestration, as well as changing the material of the roof to lower the U-value, etc.

Sustainability in architecture is a very relevant issue that was addressed in this module. Sustainable design strategies and green buildings are vital to reduce the negative impacts of construction on the environment as they help reduce the emission of greenhouse gases. This module was beneficial to my understanding of environmental issues, sustainability, and passive design strategies so that they can be implemented in my building design in the future.
