Project I

Models and Tattoos: Expressions through Design Elements and Principles

The design project introduces a basic understanding of the design elements and principles, processes, and approaches in generating ideas, developing a design, and translating it into form in a workshop based explorative studio.

The project encourages the student to manage their critical and creative side through modes exploring design elements and principles every week and applied into your models and tattoo stamps.

The outcome of the project is an architectural self-exploration.

anthropometrics and ergonomics

Anthropometrics is the study of human body size and its relation with shapes. This is used effectively in designing furniture since furniture should be able to accommodate a wide range of users of different body types. Ergonomics explores information about humans in everyday working situations.
